Data Deletion Request
You have the right to request deletion of any personal data that IwasuBrief holds about you. This page explains what data we store, which products it applies to, and how to request deletion.
What Data We Store
IwasuBrief (Church Admin Platform)
- Organization account information: name, email address, and hashed password.
- Sermon media files, transcripts, and AI-generated outputs uploaded or created by your organization.
- Usage logs and session data associated with your account.
IwasuAssist (WhatsApp & Web Chat)
- WhatsApp sender phone number and message content, used only to generate and route a reply.
- Message timestamps. No message content is retained beyond the active session.
- Web widget interactions are anonymous — no personal data is collected or stored.
IwasuStudio / Media Studio
- Sermon audio, video, and transcript files uploaded for processing, stored in your organization's private cloud storage bucket.
- AI-generated outputs (summaries, devotionals, clips) tied to your organization account.
How to Request Data Deletion
Follow the steps below to submit a data deletion request. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
Provide the email address associated with your IwasuBrief account (for Organization accounts), or the phone number you used to contact IwasuAssist via WhatsApp (for End Users).
Let us know if you want your full account deleted, specific sermon files removed, or only WhatsApp interaction data cleared. We will process all types.
You will receive a confirmation email within 3 business days. Deletion will be completed within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Organization Administrators can also delete sermon files and corpora directly from the IwasuBrief dashboard without contacting us. Account deletion always requires an email request.
What Happens After Deletion
- Your account credentials and profile data will be permanently removed from our systems.
- All sermon media files, transcripts, AI outputs, and knowledge corpus data associated with your organization will be deleted from Google Cloud Storage and Vertex AI.
- WhatsApp message data (if any retained) will be permanently erased.
- Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you individually may be retained.
- We may retain minimal records as required by law or for fraud prevention for up to 90 days after deletion.
